The Long Run 2026

Join the Crusaders on their mission to walk or run 60,000 laps of Christchurch’s Malvern Park.
Between the hours of 6am and 6pm Friday 23rd January 2026, The Crusaders are set to take on 60,000 laps of Christchurch’s Malvern Park – and you’re invited to join them!
In what is set to be the fifth iteration of the much-loved The Long Run fundraising event, participants are being given the chance to step up, show up and run or walk for Kiwi tamariki with cancer.
With a target of 60,000 laps to be met, and a goal of raising $300,000 for Kiwi kids with cancer and their families, the more entries the better!
Grab your friends, family or colleagues and sign up today! Registration for this community event is free, and there are loads of options for taking part. You can sign up to take part as:
- An individual.
- A team – rally your friends and family to join you!
- As part of the Corporate & Teams Challenge – this unique opportunity gives you the chance to spend time with your workmates outside of the office.
- Virtually – for those of you outside of Christchurch!
You’ll get your own fundraising page, and you’ll be able to track your impact as everyone collectively works towards the fundraising target.
