Leave a gift in your Will
Do something amazing today that will make a difference tomorrow.
By including a gift in your Will for Child Cancer Foundation, your bequest will help us fight for young lives against cancer and leave families a legacy of hope.
Medical teams are getting better at diagnosing childhood cancer earlier, and treating it. But the fact is, too many children still get cancer and go through a huge battle to survive. And that includes people we love.
Your gift means we can be there for the people you love, if they ever need us. With emotional and practical support families can hold onto a thin thread of hope that their family will come out the other side of their cancer journey intact.

Our bequest is not huge, but it is a gift we feel proud of. I just hope the children know how much we feel and care about them.H & M, Bequest Pledgers
How your bequest can save lives
Including a gift in your Will helps us plan for a future, where every child with cancer who needs support, can have it. Bequests pledged in the past provide our vital services today, just as gifts pledged today will help us to be there in the future as well.
People like you can be with Isabella every step of the way.
Isabella was just two days old when she was diagnosed with cancer. On the third day of her life her first dose of chemotherapy was delivered. Four rounds of intensive treatment and a bone marrow transplant followed. But this wasn’t the end … more rounds of chemotherapy, another bone marrow transplant, multiple organ failure – it certainly was a tough time for her family.
You can show your support for young lives like Isabella's, and ensure Child Cancer Foundation will be here fighting for children in the future.
We call it ENDURING HOPE, a dream for the future.

How to make your Will
I’m using a solicitor
It is best to consult with a solicitor, but you can save time and money by thinking about your beneficiaries, trustees and how you want them to share your estate. Our free information booklet offers more suggestions.
My Will just needs updating
A codicil may be a cost effective way to include a bequest to a charity. Check with your solicitor to see if this is appropriate for the updates you wish to make.
I’m making it myself
If your estate is not complicated you may prefer to create the Will yourself. We recommend you seek professional advice during the process to ensure your Will is valid and if you are kind enough to be including a gift to Child Cancer Foundation make sure you include the correct wording and charity number #CC20434.
I am a solicitor
All bequests for Child Cancer Foundation Incorporated should be directed to the Child Cancer Foundation Incorporated #CC20434, 76 Grafton Road, Auckland.
Justly is a website designed to help you create a DIY Will. It provides options to consult with selected solicitors as well as include charities in your list of beneficiaries during the online process. Check Justly out here.
Please talk to me
Most people who include a gift in their Will are down to earth, hard-working individuals who care about others and want to know they have made a difference during their lifetime.
It is important to talk to your family and loved ones about your Will so they understand why you have made your decisions and ensure your wishes are carried out. We recommend you use a solicitor because there are choices to be made, the wording is very important and it brings peace of mind to know your Will is legally binding.
