Adrian Malloch Photography
Adrian is an editorial and commercial photographer specialising in documentary photography. He has taken some beautiful photos of our 2021 Child Cancer Foundation Stars to help us tell their stories.
A photo can speak a thousand words, especially when it comes to telling the stories of families who have been impacted by childhood cancer. That’s why it was so important to us to have beautiful imagery of our 2021 Child Cancer Foundation Stars, so we could share their incredible stories by both showing and telling.
To do this, we have partnered with Adrian Malloch, an editorial and commercial photographer specialising in documentary photography.
After an extensive career as an award-winning news photojournalist, Adrian came to Auckland in 2004 to teach photojournalism at AUT. He established himself as an independent photographer with regular commissions for Metro, North & South, The Listener, NZ Geographic and many other publications.
A recent addition to Adrian’s storytelling work is ‘A Day in the Life of Your Family‘, where he takes candid photography of the everyday moments in a family’s life. This is the type of photography Adrian is capturing with the Child Cancer Foundation Stars – a normal day, observed and photographed with care, skill and empathy. The result is beautiful and authentic, preserving special moments from each family as they interact naturally and just be themselves.
